Acacia Tree goes down April 30, 2011

Early in the morning a huge crack and then the 50 year old acacia tree in our backyard tumbled to the ground. On the way it took out a chain link fence, an oak tree and a wooden fence before landing in our neighbors' yard. One foot to the south and it would have taken out their garage.

Lynne was on the phone early to 21 Century Insurance and to a tree guy. Will took photos and called the neighbor who was not fully aware of the incident.

At noon the tree team arrived and they are cutting away right now. Soon I'll be able to see what additional damage may have occured. Acacia's are heavy.
